DLAS is optical diagnostics system that can measure gas
  concentrations and temperatures 
without interference to
   material being measured.

Applying optical diagnostics system to probes according to
   the target can measure gas inside
the cylinders directly.

It is useful for EGR control by each cylinders and combustion
   optimization for each cylinders to 
measure each cylinders’
   CO
2, H2O.

Optimal systems will be proposed depending on its conditions
   such as gases, temperatures,
   pressures and humidity.

  【Principle

  Laser beam pass through test cell generated
  from semiconductors and identify temperatures
    and Concentrations based on its
    absorption of lights.

Simultaneous measurement with multispectral laser beam can measure gas temperatures with higher resolution.

   Applications

 <Temperature measurement of burner flame




 

Non-intrusive and higher resolution measurement method can detect small temperature variations accurately.

 In-cylinder gas measurement

Using special probe integrated with spark-plugs
can measure in-cylinder gas temperatures and
concentrations with high resolution simultaneously.

   distribution measurement
Measurement of the distribution of in-cylinder EGR distribution bypark plug type optical sensor and  M5 type optical sensor.
 ⇒ Control of EGR in homogeneity
    Optimization of  intake design, EGR introduction position, valve lift, and so on.
